Dec. 29th: Thomas Becket, Bishop and Martyr:
Almighty God, you granted the martyr Thomas the grace to give his life for the cause of justice. By his prayers make us willing to renounce for Christ our life in this world so that we may find it in heaven. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Dec. 31st: Sylvester I, Pope:
Lord, help and sustain your people by the prayers of Pope Sylvester. Guide us always in this present life and bring us to the joy that never ends. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Jan. 2nd: Basil the Great and Gregory Nazianzen, Bishops and Doctors:
God our Father, you inspired the Church with the example and teaching of your saints Basil and Gregory. In humility may we come to know your truth and put it into action with faith and love. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Jan. 4th: Elizabeth Ann Seton:
Lord God, you blessed Elizabeth Seton with gifts of grace as wife and mother, educator and foundress, so that she might spend her life in service to your people. Through her example and prayers may we learn to express our love for you in love for our fellow men and women. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Jan. 5th: Blessed John Neumann, Bishop:
Father, you called blessed John Neumann to labor for the Gospel among the people of a new world. His ministry strengthened many others in the Christain faith: through his prayers may faith grow strong in this land. Jan. 7th: Raymond of Penyafort, Priest:
Lord, you gave St. Raymond the gift of compassion in his ministry to sinners. May his prayers free us from the slavery of sin and help us to love and serve you in liberty. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Jan. 13th: Hilary, Bishop and Doctor:
All-powerful God, as St. Hilary defended the divinity of Christ your Son, give us a deeper understanding of this mystery and help us to profess it in all truth. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Lord, you gave St. Peter Canisius wisdom and courage to defend the Catholic faith. By the help of his prayers may all seek the truth rejoice in finding you and may all who believe in you be loyal in professing their faith. Dec. 23rd: John of Kanty, Priest:
Almighty Father, through the example of John of Kanty may we grow in the wisdom of the saints. As we show understanding and kindness to others, may we receive your forgiveness. Dec. 26th: Stephen, First Martyr:
Lord, today we celebrate the entrance of St. Stephen into eternal glory. He died praying for those who killed him. Help us to imitate his goodness and to love our enemies. Dec. 27th: John, Apostle and Evangelist:
God our Father, you have revealed the mysteries of your Word through John the apostle. By prayer and reflection may we come to understand the wisdom he taught. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Dec. 28th: Holy Innocents, Martyrs:
Father, the Holy Innocents offered you praise by the death they suffered for Christ. May our lives bear witness to the faith we profess with our lips. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Dec. 8th: IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (Holy day of Obligation):
Morning Prayer:
Father, you prepared the Virgin Mary to be the worthy mother of your Son. You let her share beforehand in the salvation Christ would bring by His death, and kept her sinless fromt he first moment of her conception. Help us by her prayers to live in your presence without sin. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, you Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Evening Prayer:
Father, the image of the Virgin is found in the Church. Mary had a faith that your Spirit prepared and a love that never knew sin, for you kept her sinless from the first moment of her conception. Trace in our actions the lines of her love, in our hearts her readiness of faith. Prepare once again a world for your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Dec. 11th: Damasus I, Pope:
Father, as St. Damasus loved and honored your martyrs, so may we condinue to celebrate their witness for Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Dec. 12: Our Lady of Guadalupe:
God of power and mercy, you blessed the Americas at Tepeyac with the presence of the Virgin Mary at Guadalupe. May her prayers help all men and women to accpet each other as brothers and sisters. Through your justice present in our hearts may your peace reign in the world. Dec. 13th: Lucy, Virgin and Martyr:

Dec. 7th: Ambrose, Bishop and Doctor:
Lord, you made St. Ambrose an outstanding teacher of the Catholic faith and gave him the courage of an apostle. Nov. 23rd: Clement I, Pope and Martyr:
All-powerful and ever-living God, we praise your power and glory revealed to us in the lives of your saints. Give us joy on this feast of St. Clement, the priest and martyr who bore witness with his blood to the love he proclaimed and the gospel he preached. God our Father, you endowed St. Albert the Great with the talent of combining human wisdom with divine faith. Keep us true to his teachings that the advance of human knowledge may deepen our knowledge and love of you. Nov. 16th: Margaret of Scotland:

Nov. 12: Josaphat, Bishop and Martyr:
Lord, fill your Church with the Spirit that gave St. Josaphat courage to lay down his life for his people. Nov. 13: Francis Xavier Cabrini, Virgin:

This site was set up to put up prayers of Saints. However, Saints' feasts don't always occur daily in the book I use, but I will post quick prayers for these Saints as often as possible. I can't guarantee this site will be up forever, I will just have to see how much time I have for it. God bless, and thanks!
